Once President Trump’s first 100 Days had passed, we wanted to get a better idea of how those in so-called “Trump Country” felt about the new administration and changes in policy. We created a form (that’s still open and accepting submissions) — which uses the Coral Project’s Ask platorm — that asked Appalachians what they thought of the new president so far. We did this for a few reasons. First, as a way to engage our audience and foster a general conversation around the 100 Days in Appalachia project. In addition, we saw this as an opportunity to gather contact information and cultivate sources for future stories.

Have a look below at what other Appalachians think of Trump and feel free to chime in yourself.
